Our work centers on preserving, researching, and disseminating authentic knowledge rooted in ancient civilizational traditions through scholarly inquiry, educational outreach, and innovative technologies. We aim to counter inherited distortions, empower indigenous knowledge systems, and create tools that enable deeper understanding and practical engagement with timeless wisdom.

From the ethical frameworks of ancient civilizations to the challenges of contemporary life, CivStudies offers a platform for rediscovery, reflection, and meaningful reform. We believe that reclaiming civilizational narratives is not only about honoring the past—but about shaping a value-centered, resilient future.

Swami Avdheshanand has initiated more than a hundred thousand sannyasins, transformed lives with his social activities, and leads the Juna Akhara into the 21st century.

Our Founder

Krishna Maheshwari is the CEO of VaultIQ, a next-generation platform for intelligent knowledge infrastructure and Institute for Civilizational Studies working to improve the representation of ancient civilizations in academia. He formerly served as Chief Product Officer at NeuroBlade and VP of Product Management at Cloudera. He has an MBA from Harvard Business School, Masters and BS in Computer Engineering & Computer Science from Cornell University. He brings unique expertise at the intersection of AI, enterprise systems, and civilizational ethics. He is a published author of two books: "Colonial Discourse and the Suffering of Indian American Children" and "Making Children Hinduphobic" and an invited speaker at conferences around the world.

Prof. Singh is currently a Senior Fellow at Institute for Civilizational Studies and Faculty at Sovia University. He is the leading academic authority on colonial discourse as it relates to ancient civilizations and its psychological impact on children. He has taught extensively on Indian and transpersonal psychology, Vedānta, and epistemology across numerous academic institutions.
